Dr. Kim Power
Dr. Kim Power is a native of North Carolina and is excited to be practicing near where she grew up! She went to Enloe for high school, then attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she studied Chemistry with a concentration in high school education. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2016, but considers herself a lifelong student and continues to keep up with the latest technology in the field. When Dr. Power is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Dalton and their furbaby, Baxter. She enjoys working out, hanging out with family and friends, and serving the community. She has participated in a dental mission trip to Moldova to provide free dental services to orphans, and also serves her home community with Missions of Mercy clinics around the state as well as Wake Smiles in Raleigh. Dr. Power places a strong emphasis on excellence; whether it’s forging relationships with patients, or working together with the staff to provide the best, most gentle work possible, she makes no concessions when it comes to quality. She places a high regard for prevention and restoring the patient to health, as opposed to constantly chasing disease and “putting band-aids” on the issues. Rather than making all of the decisions, she strives for education so that you can be in control of your treatment. Dental fear and anxiety are met with the utmost care and compassion to make sure needs are being met efficiently and comfortably. She cannot wait to meet you and your family!
