Director of Operations
Sally was born and raised in the Midwest. She moved to NC in 1999 for a career opportunity in the retail industry. Through that career, she became connected with Dr. Mann and joined the SmileMann team in 2009.
When away from the office, Sally can be found watching baseball, football, or a cheer event by one of her husband’s teenagers. As a competitive family, Sally and her family enjoy playing card games, corn hole, or anything that results in a win/loss outcome.
She and her husband, Carey, enjoy taking his kids to professional football, baseball, and basketball games at different venues. Sally is also a very proud parent to their Cavapoo, Russell (named after Russell Wilson).
Office Manager
Maranda was born and raised in Apex and currently resides in Holly Springs. She has one son and four dogs, who are her world!
She chose dentistry because she wanted to positively influence people’s lives. She loves building relationships with patients and helping them see they’re part of our dental family.
Nothing makes her feel better than seeing patients leave with a beaming smile and more confidence than they came in with.
Her open-mindedness and willingness to learn are embodied in her favorite quote from C.S Lewis:
“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
Outside of work, Maranda loves watching sunsets on the beach, going on adventures with her son, playing baseball, and riding bikes around the neighborhood. One day, she’d like to go skydiving!
Patient Care Coordinator
The best part of Kim’s job is the people she works with and the patients she meets and builds relationships with. She is outgoing and enjoys meeting people and helping others, and she works hard and thrives on doing her best.
When she’s not at the office, Kim can be found with her nose in a book, engaging in physical activities, or spending quality time with her loved ones.
Clinical Director
Her favorite thing about her job is getting to know her patients. Carmen is a social butterfly and thrives off of her relationships with her patients.
In her spare time, Carmen enjoys boating with her husband, spending time with her two children. She also enjoys gardening, going to concerts, refurbishing old furniture, yoga, walking, shopping, hanging with her two dogs, and eating good food.
Dental Hygienist
Denise grew up in the Midwest Snowbelt and ventured to New “Joisey,” where she met her husband of 30 years. After he retired, they moved to North Carolina, where their three adult children reside.
She chose the dental profession because she loves helping people, especially those who struggle with oral health. It’s her true passion, and she’s been doing it for more than 30 years!
She radiates positive energy, treats you like family, and is 100% all-in for you. She believes a smile is a way to someone’s heart, and everyone should have one.
Outside of work, she loves watching baseball, entertaining friends and family, taking nature walks, and traveling. One day, Denise hopes to spend months traveling around Europe.
Dental Hygienist
Morgan’s journey in the dental field began in 2018 as a Dental Assistant. Driven by her passion for helping others and a desire to make a more direct impact on her patients’ lives, she decided to return to school. In 2023, she graduated from Central Carolina Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene.
Known for her compassion and genuine care, Morgan finds joy in getting to know her patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. She believes that addressing dental concerns is a vital part of promoting overall well-being.
Her favorite quote by Robin Williams, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always,” reflects her approach to patient care.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time in the North Carolina mountains, gardening and growing her own food, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. Her love for the simple joys in life and her passion for helping others make her a valued member of the dental community.
Dental Assistant
Seeing her patients fall in love with their transformed smiles fuels her daily.
Outside of work, Jessica is a proud mom to her three children—Emily (17), Isabella (9), and Maxton (6). She loves spending time with her family and embraces anything outdoors, from beach trips to snow skiing. An avid traveler, she dreams of checking off a major item on her bucket list: snow skiing in the Swiss Alps.
Jessica’s warm and outgoing personality makes every patient feel at home, ensuring they leave with a brighter smile and a better day.
