Dentist In Fuquay-Varina, NC

Liz has been in the dental industry ever since she had an opportunity to work with her family dentist part-time in high school. She joined the SmileMann team in 2005 and currently manages the Cary and Fuquay-Varina offices. 

Liz is also Co-President of the Triangle Area Chapter of the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM). 

In her spare time, Liz enjoys shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.

April Wood is no stranger to the Triangle Area as she is a third-generation family member from her hometown of Garner, NC.

After graduating from Garner Senior High School, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a BA in Secondary Education. April taught ninth grade Social Studies before working in the family residential trash business while staying at home with her young sons.

When her boys graduated and “spread their wings,” April joined the Garner Chamber of Commerce, eventually serving as Vice President focusing on membership services, events, and marketing. While in this position, she met Sally from Dr. Mann’s office and was instantly drawn to the team’s love for “community” and started working at the office.

With her combined love of teaching, business, and helping others, working at Charles Ashley Mann, DDS & Associates was a natural fit. April loves to engage with our patients and connect with the community. She helps everyone to feel comfortable in our office and enjoy their visit.

Outside of the office, April loves spending time with her sons, Austin and Colton. She also enjoys sports, dancing, shopping, and wine-tasting with friends.

Kim had lived in NC her whole life and has been in the Raleigh area since 1989 when she graduated from Meredith College. She has been married to her husband, Robert, for 23 years. They have two beautiful children – Isabella, 21, and Luke, 18, as well as two dogs, Scout and Finley.

The best part of Kim’s job is the people she works with and the patients she meets and builds relationships with. She is outgoing and enjoys meeting people and helping others, and she works hard and thrives on doing her best.

When she’s not at the office, Kim can be found with her nose in a book, engaging in physical activities, or spending quality time with her loved ones.

Denise grew up in the Midwest Snowbelt and ventured to New “Joisey,” where she met her husband of 30 years. After he retired, they moved to North Carolina, where their three adult children reside.

She chose the dental profession because she loves helping people, especially those who struggle with oral health. It’s her true passion, and she’s been doing it for more than 30 years!

She radiates positive energy, treats you like family, and is 100% all-in for you. She believes a smile is a way to someone’s heart, and everyone should have one.

Outside of work, she loves watching baseball, entertaining friends and family, taking nature walks, and traveling. One day, Denise hopes to spend months traveling around Europe.
