Here is what your typical first visit will consist of:
- Hello & Welcome
Our patients are greeted with a big, warm, welcome to each office. We give you big smiles, even behind our masks!
- COVID-19 Protocols
Due to the current climate, we’ll meet you at the door to take your temperature using a digital thermometer. You’ll then be asked to fill out paperwork (new patient and/or COVID-19 screening), if you haven’t done so already.
You are provided with sanitized pens and clipboards for any information that is needed.
Once complete, we take you directly back to a hand washing station, where you will also rinse with an antibacterial mouth rinse for 20 seconds. Afterwards, you can relax in the sanitized hygienist’s or doctor’s chair.
- Comprehensive Exam
Once your medical history is updated (as needed) and depending on patient needs, X-rays are taken, a perio-assessment completed and a routine cleaning carried out by our skilled hygienist.
You’ll then meet your dentist who will evaluate your oral health and complete a comprehensive exam. He or she will then work with you to create your very own treatment plan, answering any questions along the way.
